Doctor en Psicología por la Universidad de Sevilla (Spain). Ha sido Fulbright visiting researcher en State University of New York (con el Prof. R. Miller), visiting schoolar en Ohio State University (donde también estuvo un año sabático con los Profesores Dr. W. Heward y Dr. R. Howell) y de Oxford University (Prof. P. Bryant). Actualmente es short-term visiting professor en el Department of Psychology, The University of New Mexico (USA). Catedrático de Universidad del área de Psicología Evolutiva y de la Educación (Universidad de Cádiz, Spain). Es miembro del grupo de Investigación \
